General

What is Streamo4K?

Streamo4K is a media player for IPTV playlists on Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, phones and tablets. You add your own M3U playlist, Xtream Codes login or Stalker portal, and the app gives you live TV, a TV guide, movies and series in one remote-friendly interface.

Does Streamo4K include any channels?

No. Streamo4K is a player only. It doesn't provide, host, sell or recommend any channels, streams or playlists. You need your own content from a provider you are legally entitled to use.

Where do I get a playlist?

From a legitimate service you already subscribe to. We don't recommend or partner with any provider, and we can't help you find one.

Which devices are supported?

Any device running Android 7.0 or later: Android TV and Google TV devices, Fire TV sticks, cubes and smart TVs, phones and tablets. One app runs on all of them.

Why isn't the app on Google Play?

We distribute the app directly from this website as an APK. That lets us ship updates quickly. The download page shows the latest version, its size and SHA-256 checksum so you can verify the file.

Playlists & guide

Which source formats work?

M3U and M3U8 playlists (by URL or file), Xtream Codes logins and Stalker / Ministra portals. For the guide, XMLTV files (.xml or .xml.gz) and provider guides.

Can I add more than one playlist?

The free version supports one playlist. Premium removes the limit.

Some channels have no guide. What can I do?

Open the channel's options and map it to the right guide channel by hand, or add another XMLTV source. See Set up the TV guide.

Does catch-up work with every provider?

Catch-up only works for channels where your provider keeps an archive. The app supports the common archive formats, and catch-up requires Premium.

Premium & billing

What does Premium add?

Unlimited playlists and guide sources, recording, catch-up, multi-view, parental controls, backup & restore, cloud sync, Chromecast and more. See the full comparison on the pricing page.

How is Premium priced?

Per device. A lifetime license is a one-time payment for one device. A yearly license covers one device for a year and renews until you cancel. Current prices are on the pricing page.

How do I pay?

By card (processed by Stripe) or with PayPal, on this website. We never see your full card details.

Can I buy licenses for several devices at once?

Yes. Choose the number of devices at checkout (up to 20 per order) and you get one license per device. You can buy more any time.

Can I cancel a yearly license?

Yes, any time from your account. Premium stays active on that device until the end of the year you paid for. Lifetime licenses are a one-time payment with nothing to cancel.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — see the refund policy for details.

Can I give Premium as a gift?

Yes. Buy a license and send the key to the person you want to gift it to. They enter it in the app or at /redeem.

Accounts & devices

How many devices can I use?

As many as you like. Each device needs its own license, and one account can hold any number of licenses and devices.

How do I unlock Premium on my TV?

On the TV choose Sign in with a code, enter the code on your phone at /activate, then activate one of your licenses on it. Or type a license key on the TV under Settings → Premium. See the guide.

I have a license key. Where do I enter it?

In the app under Settings → Premium → Enter license key, or add it to your account at /redeem. A key works on any device until it is activated, then it stays with that device.

How do I move my license to a new device?

Sign in at Account → Devices, release the license from the old device, then activate it on the new one. See Manage your licenses.

How do I remove an old device?

Open Account → Devices and remove it. It is signed out, and its license becomes free to use on another device.

Privacy

Do you see what I watch?

No. Playback happens on your device directly between the app and your provider. We don't receive your viewing activity.

What do you store?

Your account email, purchase records and the list of signed-in devices. If you turn on cloud sync, your favorites, history and settings are stored so they can sync. Read the privacy policy for details.

Troubleshooting

A channel buffers or shows a black screen.

Try switching the decoder, turning tunneling or audio passthrough off, and increasing the buffer. Full steps: Troubleshooting playback.

My Fire TV says it can't install the app.

Make sure Install unknown apps is turned on for Downloader in Developer options. See Install on Fire TV.

How do I contact support?

Use the contact form or email support@streamo4k.com. We help with the app and your account; we can't help with provider streams or playlists.
